Monthly U.S. firearms demand data as from January 2000, by firearms type (“handguns”, “long-guns”, and “other” firearms). Three columns of data, updated monthly. These are approximations made by Small Arms Analytics & Forecasting (SAAF) based on certain adjustments to raw data provided by the FBI’s National Instant Background Check System’s data. The data are for the whole of the US, not by state. Format=xlsx file. Download limit=1. After purchase payment, customers must download the file within 7 days’ time. In downloading our data, the client/customer (“you”) explicitly agrees to be bound by a Confidentiality, Internal Use, and Nondisclosure Agreement between you and Small Arms Analytics & Forecasting (SAAF), a division of QuintServ Professional LLC. Our numeric data are to be handled confidentially, for purely internal use only, and not to be disclosed to outside parties in any way, electronic or otherwise. Visual display of our data, without revealing detailed numbers, is, however, permitted.
